Past meadows and pastures, the path leads into the forest to the former Grundmühle inn.

You can start and end the trail into Grundbachtal at the Biohotel Werratal or begin in the centre of the village. Via Laubacher Straße, the trail heads westwards to turn into Falkenhofweg after just a few metres. Past meadows and pastures, the path finally leads into the forest to the former Grundmühle inn. Parallel to the valley, a paved forest path leads along the slope to the left of the Grundmühle. The path leads north downhill around the Wildhecker Kopf, under the power line into the Glasebach valley and from there through the fields back to the centre of the village. If you like, you can take a detour through the valley along the Laubach to the banks of the Werra. Note: The Kringweg, which turns off via a short connecting section southwest of the L3 circular trail, connects the L3 with the European long-distance hiking trail Frau-Holle-Pfad X4, which leads from Hann. Münden through the Eselsbachtal valley and the Kohlenstraße past the Hühnerfeld nature reserve. Tip: If you follow the Kringweg in an easterly direction, you will soon come to the so-called Kring - a ring wall measuring about 70 by 100 metres. Until 2007, it was assumed that this was a refuge. However, investigations revealed that the timber found inside dates from the turn of the century. Roman finds were also discovered so that the Kring was probably a satellite camp of the nearby Roman camp at Hedemünden on the other side of the Werra.
