Declaration on accessibility

As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, Hann. Münden Marketing GmbH endeavours to make its website www.hann.muenden-erlebnisregion.de as well as its subpages accessible without barriers in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (BGG) as well as the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

The accessibility requirements are derived from sections 3(1) to (4) and 4 of BITV 2.0, which was enacted on the basis of section 12d BGG.

The review of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment conducted on 10 February. Based on the review, the website is only partially compliant.

Arbitration procedure

If you do not receive satisfactory answers from the above contact option, you can apply to the conciliation board, set up at the State Commissioner for People with Disabilities in Lower Saxony, to initiate conciliation proceedings in accordance with the Lower Saxony Disability Equality Act (NBGG). The conciliation board according to § 9 d NBGG has the task of settling disputes between persons with disabilities and public bodies of Lower Saxony on the topic of accessibility in IT. The conciliation procedure is free of charge. There is no need to involve a legal advisor.
