Boat tours from April - October

Hann. Münden is almost surrounded by water. As a trading town on three rivers, water played an important role in the life of the town in the past, but also still today. Between May and October, Hann. Münden is a shipping hub for round trips or scheduled cruises on the Fulda and Weser rivers and an ideal starting point for enjoying the idyllic river landscapes in a relaxed way. Cultural attractions, guided tours, and activities for cyclists and canoeists make your stay an unforgettable holiday.

From Weserstein in Hann. Münden, boat tours on the Fulda and Weser start on Tuesdays to Sundays between April and mid-October. Up the Fulda, you go through locks and past small river islands. Down the Weser, let yourself drift a little and enjoy the scenery.

Free parking is available on the island "Unterer Tanzwerder" at the Weserstein. (Navi: Gustav-Blume-Weg, approx. 2 minutes walk).

The route of the normal round trip varies depending on the water level in the Weser. If it is not possible to navigate the Weser, the route will be extended accordingly to the Fulda with several locks.
