By bicycle from town to town in the Fachwerk5Eck - circular route through the historic old towns of Hann. Münden, Einbeck, Osterode, Northeim and Duderstadt in southern Lower Saxony.

The historic old towns of the Fachwerk5Eck can also be explored by bicycle thanks to well-developed and signposted (long-distance) cycle paths. From town to town, the routes lead through the varied landscape of southern Lower Saxony. Many sections run gently with few inclines along the rivers Leine, Rhume, Söse and Garte or idyllically along old railway lines.

Occasional climbs are always rewarded in the end with wonderful views. Natural highlights such as the Northeim lake district, the Leinepolder bird sanctuary or the turquoise blue Rhume spring offer ideal rest stops. Along the way, the five handsome half-timbered towns with their sights invite you to take a city tour.

This section along the rivers Leine, Rhume and Söse connects the historic half-timbered towns of Einbeck, Northeim and Osterode. Natural highlights are the Leinepolder between Einbeck and Northeim, the Northeim lake district, and the gypsum karst landscape near Osterode.
