Mielenhausen is a district of Hann. Münden and is 6 km from the historic old town.
With about 450 inhabitants, conveniently located on the B 3 between Kassel and Göttingen, Mielenhausen was first mentioned in a document in 1260. In 2010, the village celebrated its 750th anniversary. The village is picturesquely situated on a slope between Schedebach and Bramwald. The village is characterised by a good village community and a lively club life. The centre of the village is the village hall, run by the Mielenhausen e. V. cultural association, where clubs and associations regularly hold their numerous activities.
