The sixth stage takes you from Verden to Bremen. It takes you 55 kilometers via Achim and Thedinghausen to the Hanseatic city. Here you can get a taste of the north!

From Verden, the cycle path leads along the Langwedel lock canal past the Romanesque church of St. Sigismund in Daverden towards Achim. Just before Achim is Etelsen, famous for its castle. A few kilometers further on, you will reach the Badener Berge in Achim-Baden, which offer a magnificent view.

Your tour now takes you over the Weser bridge to Thedinghausen. Erbhof Castle in Thedinghausen is an outstanding example of the Weser Renaissance in the Middle Weser region. The joint municipality of Thedinghausen has owned this architectural and cultural-historical jewel since 1999. The Weser cycle path leads from Thedinghausen to Dreye in the municipality of Weyhe. In the station area, a museum steam locomotive from 1942 is a reminder of Weyhe's railroad history. The "Wieltsee" marina is the largest marina in the Middle Weser region. Past the Werdersee lake, the route takes you directly to the city center of the Hanseatic city of Bremen.
