From Nienburg, you cycle on the fifth stage through the Mittelweser region via Drakenburg, Bücken, Hoya and Dörverden to Verden. It is almost 60 kilometers long.

From Nienburg, the Weser Cycle Path takes you along the harbor over the Weser bridge to Drakenburg. Past the jetty, the journey continues via Marklohe to Drakenburg. In Drakenburg, the old village with the Weser Renaissance archway and the Church of St. John the Baptist are of particular importance. The route continues along the Weser towards Eystrup and Hoya. Via the Weser ferry Schweringen-Gandesbergen, the route switches back to the left bank of the Weser and leads via Bücken, Hoya and Dörverden. In Döverden, the church and the gallery Dutch windmill are tempting. Cycle left along the Weser via Magelsen and Oiste to your stage destination, the equestrian town of Verden.

Please note: Due to roadworks, the Weser Cycle Path is diverted after Wienbergen to Magelsen and before Dahlhausen. The detour is signposted and can be found here in the system.
