Townhall
Scene location
You start the tour at the historic town hall of Hann. Münden. From the town hall forecourt, keep slightly to the right and walk along the pedestrian zone "Lange Straße". After a few metres, you will see the sculpture of Doctor Eisenbart. This shows a scene of his treatment.
After about 15 metres you will reach the historic Werrabrücke bridge. Turn right here into the Dielengraben. Santa Claus greets you on the right, sitting on a park bench.
Follow the Dielengraben to the end. Just before it ends, you can pass the Guelph Castle on your right. Here you will see the big horse.
From the Welfenschloss, walk into the street am Plan. On your left, you will reach the ramparts. Here you will be greeted by several light figures such as the eagle, the snowy owl, the reindeer, the squirrel and the deer family.
Keep to the right so that you enter the historic old town again. Follow Burgstraße, which joins Wallstraße at the end. You will see the deer at the rotunda.
You are now back in the pedestrian zone, "Lange Straße". Walk along with it again in the direction of the town hall. Between St. Blasius Church and the town hall on the scene square are the swan and a beautifully illuminated "water carpet".
The light figures shine from the end of November to the end of February. Daily from 4 pm - 9 am.
Free parking on Tanzwerder Island near the Weserstein. From here it is a 5-minute walk to the starting point at the town hall.
