Tolle Ausblicke ins Werratal!

This path, like all others, starts in the centre of the village and leads north and east around the village via the village community centre and the water-treading facility before turning south of the village into the field mark. The path leads over the so-called "Zwickel" - an earth-fill resulting from the construction of the tunnel for the ICE line. There are great views of the Werratal valley. The trail passes under both Werratal bridges (motorway and ICE line) and leads along with Lippoldsburg Castle - where it is worth taking a short detour through the stream valley to the remains of the former refuge - back to the village. The approximately five-kilometre-long, easy hike leads without major differences in altitude on mostly paved paths and dirt tracks.
