At the Hann. Münden hospice, terminally ill people are accompanied, cared for and looked after in a loving, homely and respectful atmosphere, regardless of their world view, social status, religious beliefs, nationality and way of life.
With our actions, we help to achieve optimal pain relief and symptom control of other complaints. We provide relief, support and companionship in this life situation. In doing so, we provide careful support to improve, maintain or restore life satisfaction.
The framework for this is provided by the self-determination and dignity of the hospice guests, as we are convinced that you know best what does you good and helps you.
The Hann.Münden hospice would like to offer you an alternative to home. It offers space for eight hospice guests and is located in a circular building in a park. As a small, family-run facility, we are equipped to meet the individual needs of our guests.
The costs of the hospice stay are covered by the health and care insurance funds to the extent that hospice guests and their relatives do not have to pay any of their own costs.
The hospice pays part of each guest's daily costs (rate of need).
The health and nursing care insurance funds cover 95 percent of the costs incurred for a hospice stay. However, each hospice is legally obliged to cover the difference of 5 percent of the daily rate of each hospice guest from its own funds. For this reason, the Hann.Münden hospice is also permanently dependent on helpful support from various sponsors in order to be able to continue to offer this necessary help and care for the seriously ill.
