Two river valleys, three rivers, and a variety of bike trails.

Discover the charming landscapes along the Werra and Fulda rivers on the Werra-Fulda Circular Bike Tour. This multi-day cycling tour connects historic half-timbered towns, idyllic river landscapes, and numerous cultural attractions.

The starting point of your cycling tour is Hann. Münden, the “city of three rivers,” where the Werra and Fulda rivers converge to form the Weser. From here, the loop tour first takes you along the Werra through Witzenhausen and Eschwege. It then continues through the Fulda Valley via Rotenburg an der Fulda, Melsungen, and Kassel back to Hann. Münden.

Along the way, you’ll encounter picturesque half-timbered villages, impressive castles and palaces, as well as historic sites along the former inner-German border. The daily stages, ranging from 20 to 40 kilometers, offer the opportunity to explore the region by bike and discover its unique features.

The Werra-Fulda Cycling Loop can be booked with either four or seven nights’ lodging. The travel package includes lodging with breakfast, as well as maps and informational materials. Luggage transfer and additional extension days can be booked upon request.

Experience a varied cycling vacation around Hann. Münden and discover the Werra and Fulda valleys on a personalized cycling tour.

Bookable for two or more people—prices upon request.
