Old techniques in a new guise - pop-up exhibition at the Künstlerhaus, Speckstr. 7, Hann. Münden

The Mündener KunstNetz invites you to a special pop-up exhibition at the Künstlerhaus next Saturday, November 22. Works from two workshops, which took place in November with great demand, will be presented: Cave Painting and Experimenting with Chinese Ink, using the Inkju technique.

Both courses were not only fully booked, but even overbooked - a sign of the great interest in traditional yet unusual forms of expression. Under the guidance of Pete O'Donald & Bettina Weyrich (cave painting) and Sissi Karnehm-Wolf (Chinese ink), impressive works were created in an intensive, cheerful and concentrated atmosphere, which are now being shown to the public for the first time.

The participants immersed themselves in ancient techniques:

* Cave painting with earth pigments and simple tools - powerful, immediate images reminiscent of the origins of human art.
* Chinese ink in combination with watercolor - a play of water, color and movement that produced surprising, poetic effects.

"It was fascinating to see how quickly the participants found confidence in their own expressiveness," says Bettina Weyrich. "The results have a vibrancy that you just want to share."

The pop-up exhibition will show the resulting works for one day only. Visitors can expect a small, exquisite exhibition full of energy, joy and experimentation.
