The night watchman is already cleaning the lanterns and the soldier of the ducal guard at the Guelph castle in Münden is looking forward to his tankard of beer.
"Lantern light and black brew", the special tour by members of the city guides' guild that has been popular for years during the Christmas season, starts on Friday, 28.11.25, 18.00 hrs, on the historic Werra bridge in Münden.
A special experience for all those who love and want to experience history and stories.
The Tatern, a mock death, a youthful skeleton in the Fangenturm, the Hübschlerin and the magical power of parsley, the unusual migration of frogs - Münden's past is rich in episodes and invites you to experience it.
And at the end of the tour it's delicious: Ahle Wurscht and dark beer are served for refreshment in the town hall and a few extra anecdotes until it's time to say goodnight to the night watchman and the watch soldier.
The pleasure costs €15 per person.
