Hann. Münden celebrates the diversity of beer: 5th Beer Festival on 9 and 10 May 2025
Hann. Münden is hosting its popular beer festival for the fifth time. On 09 and 10 May 2025, the Dielengraben, directly between the Werra and Welfenschloss, will once again be transformed into a delightful meeting place for beer lovers from near and far.
Regional brewing art at its best: Visitors can look forward to the most unusual and exquisite creations from the participating breweries. The participating breweries include the Schinkels brewery from Witzenhausen, which offers something for every taste with its diverse range of beers.
Tradition meets modernity: "The tradition of brewing beer in Hann. Münden goes back to the 16th century," explains Matthias Biroth, Managing Director of Hann. Münden Marketing GmbH and initiator of the beer festival. "The festival transports this history into the present and at the same time ties in with the current demand for individual and tasty beer varieties."
Two days full of enjoyment: On both festival days, visitors can sample different types of beer from 4.00 pm to 11.00 pm, discover new flavours and talk to the brewers. Varied live music will provide the best entertainment.
Alcohol-free alternatives and savoury food: Non-alcoholic beers and various non-alcoholic drinks will be on offer to ensure that the enjoyment of beer doesn't give you a headache the next morning. The festival offer is rounded off by a savoury food offer that has something for every taste.
