Short facts

With Maaßen - DKKD Disco

He’s a musician, singer, bassist, songwriter, and, above all, a digital DJ—so one thing is certain: DJ Maaßen will set the dance floor at the Geschwister-Scholl-Haus ablaze. After all, the DJ creates the sound and ensures everyone’s in the mood to dance. Even though not much remains of the origins of the disco movement—which emerged in the underground scene in the late ’60s—due to its hostile takeover by the mainstream, disco lives on. Disco never died! (Arte documentary)
