On Saturday, 30 November 2024, the local community invites you to the "somewhat different" 27th Christmas market in Hedemünden. The market starts at 11:05 a.m. in the historic town centre and offers a festive atmosphere characterised by the picturesque half-timbered houses around the old school, the market square and the Oppertor up to the old town hall.
Christmas decorations and a cosy ambience put visitors in a contemplative Advent mood. Hedemünden specialities provide for the physical well-being, while individual gift items invite you to browse. There is a special highlight for children: Father Christmas comes on a motorbike and offers exciting motorbike rides. The Christmas market is accompanied musically by tower brass bands, the trombone choir and a concert in the church under the motto "Fun in Music".
