Playground fun for the whole family at the Wallanlagen
A variety of hands-on activities for all ages on August 19
A fun-filled afternoon for the whole family awaits visitors of all ages on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the playground in the Wallanlagen in downtown Hann. Münden. Under the theme “Playground Fun for the Whole Family,” numerous institutions and organizations from Hann. Münden and the Göttingen district invite you to a varied program of hands-on activities.
The program includes, among other things, temporary tattoos for kids, a reading pavilion, table soccer, a ball pit, marble art, and information booths about life with children. Coffee and cake will be provided. Admission to the event is free.
The goal of the event is to provide families with a carefree afternoon while also highlighting the wide range of offerings for children and families in Hann. Münden. Visitors will have the opportunity to get to know the participating organizations, strike up conversations with one another, and learn about counseling, recreational, and support services.
“Playground Fun” is organized by members of the Early Intervention Network for the City and District of Göttingen. Among the numerous participating organizations are the Hann. Münden Family Center, Café Kinderwagen, Griffbereit and Rucksack KiTa, the DRK District Association of Göttingen-Northeim e. V., the Family Service and Family Store, Education & Participation District of Göttingen, the AWO District Association of Göttingen-Northeim e. V., ElternChanceN, TOPAS, CAMINO, the KiBo Children’s Service Office, the House of Nations/GAB South Lower Saxony, the Catholic Parish of St. Elisabeth, as well as the Münden Multigenerational House and the City of Hann. Münden.
All families are warmly invited to stop by, join in the fun, and spend a colorful summer afternoon together.
