Fairytale-like primeval forests with old gnarled oaks and tree ruins, surrounded by impressive fern landscapes, give these places a magical attraction that drew painters to these forests over 100 years ago. Light and graphic design, coupled with image processing, allow our impressions to flow into the photographs. The intensive photographic dialog with the fairytale forests in northern Hesse leads to charismatic images with an unusual effect.
