Open Sunday in the medieval village of Steinrode

Today

Short facts

The medieval model village Steinrode opens again for spontaneous visitors on Sunday, June 29, from 11 am to 5 pm. Entry fee for people aged 18 and over: 3 euros, children and young people free.

There's a lot going on that day with snails and horses: The wooden variety will be making a guest appearance. Snails made of wood and decorations with empty snail shells can be created at the craft table. The hobby horse course is available from 11 am to 1 pm. During a guided tour around 2 p.m., visitors can get to know the facility and the work of the supporting association, Förderverein für Umweltbildung und Waldpädagogik an Schulen. There will be a barbecue, coffee and cake, cold drinks and games including ladder golf, cone target throwing, mouse races and other activities. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead.

We would like to politely point out that the consumption of food and drinks brought along is not permitted on these open Sundays.
