Open Church Tower Day

In 4 days

Short facts

St. Aegidien Church is one of the oldest and most iconic buildings in Münden.

The church tower, first mentioned around 1400 and rebuilt in 1727 after being destroyed, is in urgent need of renovation. Next year, the tower will celebrate its 300th anniversary since its reconstruction. On this day, we’re offering you the chance to see the condition of the tower for yourself, discover traces of its history, and enjoy the view while you’re at it. Coffee and cake will be served on site. We look forward to seeing you there! All information about the project can be found here: https://www.st-aegidien-kirche.de/news

Important: Climbing the tower is at your own risk. A maximum of 12 people are allowed in the tower at any one time.
