We cordially invite you to the traditional shooting festival—the Schüttenhoff—of our club, which was founded in 1823 and is deeply rooted in the history of Hann. Münden. Since then, our focus has been on tradition, the sport of shooting, and community.
All residents of Hann. Münden are invited to compete for the title of People’s Shooting King or Queen or People’s Youth King or Queen.
Look forward to sporting competitions for prizes, trophies, commemorative plaques, and titles. For our youngest guests ages 6 and up, there will be a children’s shooting event using light-point rifles (similar to a laser pointer), while adults can compete for the best shots using small-caliber rifles.
On Saturday, there will be a family afternoon for young and old alike, featuring games and fun, as well as coffee and cake.
And, of course, the daily chance to relax and socialize over food and drinks is a must.
Shooting Week: Tuesday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Family Day on Saturday: featuring a children’s afternoon starting at 1 p.m., a seniors’ afternoon starting at 3 p.m., and a relaxed evening for parents and adults starting at 6 p.m.
The announcement of the new honorees, trophy winners, and the People’s Shooting King/Queen and People’s Youth King/Queen will take place on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Let’s celebrate together and strengthen our bond with our club and our city. We look forward to seeing you!
With warm regards
Your Mündener Schützenverein v. 1823 e.V.
