Joie de vivre and messages of peace: Exhibition of children's art at the Mündener Künstlerhaus

Today

Short facts

A colorful summer holiday campaign brings children's art into the public eye.

On Saturday, August 30, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, August 31, from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., children from Ukraine, Syria and Germany will be showing their works at the Künstlerhaus.

Initiated and actively supported by Karsten Rohlfs, First Chairman of the Kneipp Association and implemented with great commitment by participants of the open art workshop of the KunstNetz, lively, colorful pictures have been created during the vacations that tell of optimism and joy. In addition to colorful paintings, the children also created small clay figures and pieces of jewelry - lovingly, richly detailed and full of creativity. They were also supported by the Oberode pottery association, which provided advice, assistance and a kiln.

The works also include touching motifs that express the desire for peace - for example in the form of doves of peace or symbols of hope.

Mariarosa Ostan-Herth, Harald Herth, Sabine Magdeburg and Shanti Ines Kassebom guided the children and were delighted with their great willingness. However, they emphasize that the exhibition belongs to the children, who are proud of their work.

The Lions Club Hann. Münden is also supporting the event.

At the opening on Saturday, the young Ukrainian musician Mariia Kozminykh will sing and accompany herself on the guitar - another special highlight.

All interested parties are cordially invited to visit the exhibition and experience the special expressiveness of children's art.
