Gaby Meyer - art made of emotion and colour
Colour solo for two. This is the title under which the Münden painter Gaby Meyer is exhibiting her paintings at
Künstlerhaus Speckstraße 7 in Hann. Münden.
The artist creates her works through an intuitive, purely emotional process. Using
acrylic paints, she creates colourful and expressive pictures that merge into a powerful symbiosis of form and colour in several layers on the canvas. In doing so, she relies exclusively on her feelings and inner perception. Every application of colour is an expression of her artistic intuition.
Despite her creative spontaneity, Gaby Meyer considers herself to be a realistic person. This characteristic is particularly evident in her careful selection of high-quality materials such as canvases, colours and painting tools, which form the basis of her work. In this way, Meyer combines craftsmanship with free-spirited creativity and creates works that impress with their depth and intensity and, thanks to the vibrant, luminous colours, have a direct impact on the viewer.
Her art is a feast for the senses - lively, intense and always in dialogue with the emotions of the viewer. Gaby Meyer invites us to immerse ourselves in the world of her colours and experience the power and beauty of the moment. This time, photographs will be shown alongside abstract paintings. In memory of her painting friend Monika Westphal, some of her paintings will be included.
The vernissage will take place on 12 October at 11.00 am in the Künstlerhaus. The exhibition will be open on Saturday and Sunday 12/13 October and 19/20 October from 11.00 to 17.00.
