Fun hedgehog crafts and little witches can be made on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Medieval Village of Steinrode, Kohlenstraße 101, 34346 Hann. Münden.
From 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., young and old will craft together: Participation for a tandem (one parent or other adult caregiver with a child) costs 10 euros; each additional child in the tandem costs 3 euros. The hedgehog crafts are made from cardboard, paper, and wood; if you’d like, you can also twist a colorful cord to hang them up. They look pretty, and the crafts serve as a reminder to set up a warm spot in the garden with fallen leaves for the hedgehogs to hibernate. The little witches—with or without broomsticks—are made from scraps of leather or felt; everyone can make as many as they’d like. And just like that, you’ll have a lovely gift or decoration—not just for Halloween.
The number of participants is limited to 24. Advance registration is not mandatory, but if you’d like to secure a spot, please email info@steinrode.de by Friday, September 18, at 12:00 p.m. at the latest.
After that, we’ll announce on our website whether any spots are still available. Unfortunately, later reservations aren’t possible—it’s first come, first served.
