An afternoon of exchange, empowerment & books
Friday 29.11.2024 from approx. 15-17h in the House of Nations in Hann. Münden
Have you experienced racism or would you like to learn more about it? Then come to our meeting in the Plauderstube! Here you can talk about your experiences in a safe space and exchange ideas with others. We introduce books for children and young people that deal with racism and diversity in order to better understand the topic. We will read aloud, colour and talk about our own experiences. The books will be brought by Sarah Gieseler (primary school teacher; born in Sri Lanka, grew up in Germany) and Chris Herrwig (project coordinator, born and grew up in Germany). Over coffee, tea and biscuits, we want to get together in a relaxed atmosphere and strengthen each other. The afternoon is for people who have experienced racism - but is also open to anyone else who is interested.
We look forward to seeing you!
