The view sweeps over the Werra valley, which slopes deeply here, to Laubach on the opposite side.

To the south, the path leads out of the village in the direction of the ICE railway line. Via the so-called Zwickel, the trail passes under the motorway into Sudholz. At the double mast, a bench rewards the hike so far: the view sweeps over the Werratal valley, which slopes deeply here, to Laubach on the opposite side. Under the Werratal bridges, the trail passes Lippoldsburg Castle - where it is worth taking a detour to the gate of the former refuge, which was uncovered a few years ago. The path crosses the Ilksbachstraße and leads through the small community back to the village. About six kilometres long tour without any major climbs. Sturdy shoes are required for the unpaved section along the Lippoldsburg.
