Die Herkuleskeule: Dresden's cabaret theatre

In 26 days

Short facts

Laughing when it makes you cry

Manfred Breschke was an ensemble member of the Herkuleskeule for many years before he was driven into the wild and founded the Dresden Friedrichstatt-Palast together with Thomas Schuch. Now he returns to his home club stage to replace the "Saxon Schwejk" Rainer Bursche, who celebrated his farewell to the stage with this programme. Breschke is an "old hand" of cabaret. In contrast, Anna Marie Lehmann is on the cabaret boards for the first time, flirted with the camera, the Deutsch-Sorbisches Volkstheater and chased witches on the beautiful Müritz at the same time, before she now fell in love with cabaret. Alexander Pluquett courageously jumped out of the capital city cabaret DIE STACHELSCHWEINE into the provinces of Elbflorenz together with his trumpet. Thomas Wand is more than just a man at the piano: he composes, samples, is in a good mood and never has time.
